How We Serve
Our goal at Backpack International is to provide families in need by blessing them with essentials, from donating a meal to a local family or a backpack filled with school supplies and toiletries. Keep scrolling to find out more about how we serve.
Backpack International had a tremendous reaction from the community. Many people have utilized their Drive Thru Service and others have contacted them for delivery. They are scheduled to serve from 4-5:30 p.m. but are almost always out of food by 5; they have even had to turn people away because they didn’t have any more food.
We provide backpacks to school-aged children and teens during the Back to School season and also year-round to families when faced with hardship such as a fire or natural disaster. These backpacks are filled with school supplies, toiletries, toys, snacks, clothing, and more.
Every summer we organize and host a Mission Trip to Guyana, South America where we lead a Vacation Bible School Camp and present all participants with backpacks for the new school year.
From planning and coordinating 5K Fundraisers to organizing Unity Prayer Events, and Service Projects, we are often hosting events to serve the local community and help raise awareness for those in need.
